SMTP server performance test

This tool can test any email via SMTP protocols. It was developed to proove that Merak Email Server is really very fast server. Basic test consist of sending 50 messages with size of 500kB, 100 messages of 25kB and 350 messages of 1kB (messages are a part of archive on our download page).

Variability

Tester can change default numbers of messages and of course, also a sources of these messages can be changed so tester can set it to send 1MB messages for instance. Anyway, default values are optimized for fast and reliable compare tests.

Web server testing

There is implemented also a chance to test web server via HTTP protocol. Tester only needs to define hostname and a file which should be tested. Then a test can take place. Again, default values should be enough to obtain reliable data to evaluate a performance of server.

POP3 testing

For a specified hostname, using this tool for specified list of user accounts this tool will test these accounts according to the number of requests. You can specify number of requests, threads and the usage of LIST, RETR a DELE commands.
